On 15 – 16 January the Institute of Aviation hosted the 8^th Conference on the Fatigue of Aircraft Structures organized by the Materials and Structures Research Center.

The event brought specialists in research into materials and structures used in the aeronautical industry. The participants included researchers of the Air Force Institute of Technology, the PZL MIELEC, the Military University of Technology and the Institute of Aviation, represented by researchers of the Engineering Design Center and the Materials and Structures Research Center. The conference featured 18 presentations on a variety of subjects concerned with fatigue of materials and structures used in aeronautics.

The next conference will be held in January 2016.
